Dr. Jesse Fister brings over a decade of applied regenerative design experience, specializing in mountain west arid landscapes, from suburban homes to small acreage properties of ten acres or less. Services include water harvesting, earthworks, garden beds, irrigation, animal systems, pest management, agroforestry, site regeneration, soil fertility enhancement, carbon sequestration, integrated life systems, and basic construction.
Trained by Geoff Lawton, the global standard-bearer of permaculture practice today, Dr. Fister has lived the principles he designs: from a six-acre Montana homestead to his current Denver suburban property, where he maintains raised beds, quail, compost systems, and heirloom fruit.
His background as a psychologist informs an approach to land design that is patient, observational, and rooted in working with natural processes rather than against them. His designs factor in human relationships, mental health, demographics, and other factors which could compromise function or longevity.
He doesn't design from theory. He designs from experience.
